How to do default parameter values in Powershell
You have to give a formal declaration of the function's parameter.
function Test {
	Param (
		[ValidateNotNullOrEmpty()]
		[String]
		$String = 'DEFAULT'
	)
	Write-Host -Object "String: $String"
